this is beautiful and heart-breaking. i think luhan struck me most here for his optimism without the lack of reality. i like how you actually wrote taohun. it was not just the vague mentions here and there. there were legit moments and memories. the imagery is really nice too. the angst is moderate, not too overwhelming with tears and blood but also not that mild for someone who loves angst like me. def one of my fav hunhan (or taohun!!) fics.
