Okay, I am going to attempt to not irrationally scream at you for this because, well, while that may have been my initial reaction, I shall refrain from doing so. Because ear drums are important and I'm pretty sure some people might find that offense.

This was perhaps the most amazing thing ever. Firstly because you wrote it, secondly because it is BaekChen (and I legit do ship them even if I haven't written them yet), thirdly because this is friendship to relationship fic (which actually makes me claw my face), and fourth because you are dedicating this to me and I cannot even begin to describe how touched I am. ALSO MARRIAGE GIFTS. EXCUSE ME, I HAVE TO, UM- /dissolves.

So, *ahem* to begin. I love Baekhyun. Here, from the very start, he is so incredibly real and tangible as a character you feel like you know him before you even set in. His dedication to his friends, his family, and his world are so impressive and apparent that you just want to sit him down and make him breathe. His relationship with Jongin may be the most tender and beautiful thing ever. His line about how life is more than just him, but also about others and how Jongin is what is so fiercely important to him just hit me hard. rolls around in their relationship

Then there is everyone else. For once, Jongdae is not a super troll, which I actually love. Yes, troll Jongdae is fantastic fun, but I love seeing him as a more realistic honest person. I also love how he's so clearly invested in Baekhyun. His eagerness and clear ease is so delightful, as well as the small details he concerns himself with. I also am entirely very convinced (even if it is inaccurate) that Jongdae keeps setting Baekhyun up on these dates and not telling him things THAT ARE IMPORTANT (Luhan's face angst and Tao's need to cry at anything) to be Jongdae actually secretly hoping that it WILL fail just so Baekhyun will always be his and never truly leave.

I also like how you don't explain about Jongdae and Kyungsoo. It somehow keeps them still private and valid. It also is is nice because it makes more sense as to why Jongdae is not already dating Baekhyun. I like how we don't know about them or what goes on because it is like we are also just as removed from their personal sphere as Baekhyun is.

And now onto Characterizations, which basically had me slapping myself. Luhan, Tao, Wufan, basically everyone was so perfect and fabulous. I like how you made them their own characters but also just tweaked their depicted personalities as we see (and never let them live down) into this. Luhan's fairy face but actual knee jerk and masculine properties, Tao's 'serial killer oppa' face but 'I cry at beauty and long walks' were priceless. I loved the depictions. This was just, well, perfect an flawless and I loved it.

AND YOU PUT IN KRISBAEK. You know how I feel about them and yet reading them in this was so lovely and fluffy and I loved them despite my normal reaction to them. (You have achieved the near impossible) I also loved how Wufan was so understanding and elegantly written. His underlying jealousy streak had me pawing at air.

DOMESTICITY. DOMESTICITY DOMESTICITY DOMESTICITY. Everyone in this is so beautifully domestic and excellent and lovely together it was heart wrenching. I especially loved the pre-dating 'oops we broke up with our boyfriends coz we're in love with each other' Baekdae relationship because it was so realistic. It was like dating without the dating and I MAY HAVE A HUGE THING FOR THAT

I loved this. Like, a lot loved this. You are the best. And now I am going to finish my things and write your Baekho for you because YOU DESERVE IT.
