Contrary to popular opinion, Kyungsoo isn't much of a homebody, just like how he isn't always the one cleaning EXO-K's dorm. He's always itching to go out, wanting to have coffee in the cafe down the street or wanting to meet up with friends or just walk around.
So when he sees that it's storming outside just as he'd gotten ready to go out, the pout on his face is visible all the way to China.
He removes his coat and shoes and stomps back to the couch where Jongin is seated with his bag of potato chips, eyes on the soccer game on the TV screen. He plops down and disturbs the younger male's concentration.
Jongin takes one look at Kyungsoo's pout and he immediately knows what's wrong. He laughs and puts an arm around his hyung, who immediately snuggles towards him by force of habit.
"It's not the end of the world," Jongin assures him. "The rain will stop and then you can go out. I'll even go with you."
Kyungsoo looks at him, eyes normally wide, a smile starting to form on his lips. "Really?" he asks. Because if there's anyone who /is/ a homebody, it's Jongin. "You'll go out with me and we can walk around Seoul in ugly disguises and you won't complain?"
Jongin chuckles because he thinks Kyungsoo is the cutest when he's like this, eyes wide like those of a young child.
"Maybe," Jongin teases, and Kyungsoo frowns and pouts again, even crossing his arms on his chest. "Yes, we will," he laughs. "We'll wear the ugliest disguise we can find and parade it out on the streets of Seoul."
Kyungsoo smiles contentedly. Then he frowns again. "But what will we do while we wait for the rain to stop?" he asks.
Jongin gets off the couch, throwing his now empty bag of chips into the trash bin and disappears into their room for a moment. Meanwhile, Kyungsoo sits back down on the couch and flips through the channels, looking for something nice to watch. He chances upon an interesting-looking drama and puts the remote down beside him.
Jongin returns shortly after with a thick blanket and a tub of popcorn. Kyungsoo chuckles as he sees this and grabs the popcorn as Jongin sits beside him and puts the blanket on them.
"So is this what we're watching?" Jongin makes a face in mock distaste as he lifts his arm when Kyungsoo snuggles impossibly closer, cuddling him.
Kyungsoo leans his head on Jongin's shoulder, enjoying the warmth of the younger male's arm around him. This is maybe the only reason he would ever like staying indoors. Jongin is such a warm ball of sunshine and energy that he always finds himself automatically sticking to him everywhere they go. It isn't something that he even thinks about anymore. But wherever Jongin is, Kyungsoo is. He thinks that just about sums up the state of their relationship.
"I can't believe we're watching this," Jongin mumbles after a while, popcorn crumbs spilling out of his mouth and down his shirt. Some of it even falls on Kyungsoo's face.
"Don't talk when you're eating," Kyungsoo chastises, rubbing his hands on his face, removing the crumbs. He slaps a hand on Jongin's tummy and he grunts.
"Can we watch something else?" Jongin asks, licking his upper lip then his lower lip as he puts the popcorn down on the table and reaches for the remote. Kyungsoo follows the movement with his eyes.
"Hmm," Kyungsoo murmurs, leaning back towards Jongin, his lips on his neck, making the younger shiver. "Or we can just do something else." He reaches his hand out from under the blanket to tilt Jongin's face towards his.
There's a spark of desire in Jongin's eyes that he sees reflected in his hyung's. The left side of his lips tilt up to form and smirk and he dips his head to capture Kyungsoo's lips in a kiss.
They start making out like this. Kyungsoo wraps both arms around Jongin's neck as the younger male's arms snake around his waste. The boring drama is forgotten, just white noise amidst the pounding rain.
Jongin leans forward, Kyungsoo leaning back until he's lying down completely on the couch. The blanket lies forgotten on the floor, which Kyungsoo doesn't mind because Jongin makes warmer than any blanket would ever do. Especially with his lips moving over his like this and with his hands teasing the skin under his shirt and with his knee moving in between his legs, lightly pressing on his--he groans and moves his hand down Jongin's torso, making him shiver.
Kyungsoo is just starting to get more and more into their impromptu make out session when Jongin suddenly pulls away, making him feel practically naked and empty. He blinks up at the younger male, who's looking towards the windows.
"What's wrong?" Kyungsoo asks, almost wincing at the husky state of his voice.
"The rain's stopped," Jongin tells him, pointing his too-innocent gaze at him. "We should go find those ugly disguises you were talking about and parade them outside."
Jongin makes a move to get off the couch when Kyungsoo pulls the collar of his shirt, making him topple on Kyungsoo.
"I think," Kyungsoo says right on Jongin's lips, "that we can forget about those disguises for now and just stay in." He presses a gentle but hot kiss on his lips. "What do you think?"
Jongin nods, a chuckle bubbling through his lips. Because just moments ago, Kyungsoo was dying to go out. He relaxes on top of his hyung and carries on with such activity.
As Kyungsoo wraps his arms around Jongin, he thinks that he just found another /really/ good reason to stay indoors and files it away for future reference.
